Celebrating the centuries-old tradition of Hanami, a Japanese tradition of enjoying the transient beauty of flowers, the May Fair bar inside The May Fair Hotel has been transformed into a blooming blush-hued cherry blossom tree.
Marking a unique collaboration between The House of Suntory’s Roku Gin and The May Fair Hotel, the transformation takes inspiration from Roku Gin’s botanicals. Running until March 2020, the exclusive residency features a bespoke menu of cocktails, Japanese-inspired small plates and brunch classics.
From £15 enjoy the lip-smacking autumn Köyö cocktail, filled with Roku Gin, Nizawa Sake, calamansi and persimmon purée, lime, white sesame syrup and topped with fever-tree soda. Or, try the winter Yuzu & Hibiscus Martini, filled with Roku Gin, Yuzu Sake, Hibiscus and green tea liqueur, Enamor and Yuzu Kosho Tincture.
Plus, pair your tasty tipples with a bite to eat from the Bar and Late menu. Serving sashimi selections, bao buns, signature dishes and robata skewers, there’s something to make everyone’s taste buds dance with delight.
