The Royal Institute of Oil Painters presents this year’s annual exhibition exclusively online.

While many won’t be able to visit an art gallery in person this season, the shows goes on, online, at Mall Galleries.

Running until 20th January 2021, browse the The Royal Institute of Oil Painters Annual Exhibition online for free.

It’s the Institute’s 128th annual exhibition, reflecting the continued evolution of oil painting throughout the UK and the medium’s fundamental part in the wider art world.

Explore exhibited works from the comfort and safety of your home and buy works at the click of a button. Works purchased online will be dispatched directly by the artists as soon as possible upon purchase, free of charge (within mainland UK).

The exhibition showcases the work of many exciting young painters alongside the work of more established names. As ever, there are several prizes and awards on offer, worth over £5,000.

Unique to this year, the show includes several special works on the theme of ‘Reflections’, interpreted in a variety of ways by both members of the Institute and artists selected from open submission.

Virtual visitors can browse the collection online for free. However, audiences are asked to consider making a donation online to help support the gallery through this unprecedented period.
