This year, de Hooch’s beautiful 17th-century painting has inspired children to make all kinds of creative projects — from wicker sculptures and cardboard houses to clay tiles and even baked apple pies!
The children’s artwork is on display across three sites in and around the National Gallery. You can also enjoy a digital augmented reality trail that brings their creations to life.
The exhibition features work by children aged 6–11 from Woodford Valley Primary Academy and Parkhill Junior School.
