In celebration of the Art of London the Ham Yard Hotel has created a special Afternoon Tea.
Indulge in finger sandwiches and savouries, including smoked salmon and cream cheese on brown, devilled egg mayonnaise on white and house ricotta and gremolata vol au vent. Then savour a mouth-watering selection of cakes, inspired by the works of art hanging on the flags over Piccadilly, with the apple and custard choux bun taking inspiration from Yinka Shonibare RA’s Eros and the Rose I and the berry Bakewell tart inspired by Farshid Moussavi RA’s La Folie Divine 3/4.
To complete the experience, the hotel’s expert bar team have concocted an Art of London Fizz cocktail using Portobello Gin, Manzana Verde, Orgeat, Cacao Blanc, lemon and Champagne, drawing inspiration from Vanessa Jackson’s brightly coloured UpTownDancing pedestrian crossings.
