An evening of live jazz whilst dining in the glitz and glam of Larry's, with an extensive wine list and cocktail menu that will take you back in time to the golden age of the speakeasy.
17.00 – 19.30: A golden hour set of relaxed, soft jazz piano and vocals
20.00 – 23.00: Larry's Late featuring duos and bands playing upbeat classic jazz and postmodern jukebox sounds.
Headline act, Kitty LaRoar, with Nick Shankland (Thursdays)
Kitty and Nick are every inch old-school Hollywood glamour: think Marilyn Monroe meets Frank Sinatra, or Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong. Their sound is somewhere between that of a jazz quartet and a big band. Kitty sings and plays drums; Nick sings at the piano and plays bass-keys. Sip on a Larry’s cocktail and enjoy musical treats such as ‘dream a little dream of me’, ‘pure imagination’ and ‘isn’t this a lovely day’.
