Sicilian Wine Dinner - Franco's

A special evening celebrating the wines of Sicily with the winery I Custodi delle Vigne dell' Etna, one of the most compelling producers from the volcanic slopes of Mount Etna. Rooted in ancient vineyards, old bush vines, and traditional farming, I Custodi delle Vigne dell’Etna is considered one of the more authentic, tradition-focused wine makers on Etna, with their wines capturing the wild beauty and energy of Sicily’s most exciting wine region.

Their most prestigious wine, is the Etna Rosso Riserva “Saeculare”. It comes from vineyards with ungrafted vines up to 250 years old in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo, and has a very limited production of only 3,000 bottles annually.

At the dinner, you will explore a curated selection of Etna wines. Each course of the four-course menu, created by Head Chef Stefano Turconi, will be paired with a glass from the estate, such as Imbris” Etna Bianco Superiore, Aetneus Etna Rosso or “Saecularis” Etna Rosso Riserva.

To mark this special occasion, the family have offered to release a select number of rare older vintages, which will be presented in magnum format. This opportunity offers a unique chance to experience how Etna’s volcanic wines evolve with age, gaining extraordinary depth, savoury complexity, and finesse.

This dinner allows you to discover the soul of Etna through thoughtful food pairings, stories from the region, and wines that are both deeply traditional and strikingly modern. A night for lovers of Italian wine, volcanic terroir, and exceptional dining.

A representative from the Winery will be there on the night to give an informative presentation about I Custodi delle Vigne dell' Etna, and introduce each of their wines served on the evening.
