Tusk Turtle Trail 2025
What's on
This summer, London’s West End is set to welcome a brand-new cultural art trail for all to enjoy.
Set to launch this July, the Tusk Turtle Trail, will see 16 life-sized turtle sculptures taking to the streets of the West End — each one transformed by a celebrated artist or well-known public figure.
Expect to spot bold, imaginative designs from the likes of Rolling Stone and artist - Ronnie Wood, Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett’s collaborative Dragon’s Den turtle, famed photographer Rankin, highly sought after artist Harland Miller, and illustrator Ralph Steadman, among others.
Every turtle tells a different story celebrating the beauty of marine turtles and raising awareness of the challenges they face.
This unique public art trail is a collaboration between Conservation charity Tusk, curator Chris Westbrook, and Art of London, Shaftesbury Capital, and The View from The Shard. Sculptures will appear in iconic West End locations, turning the area into an open-air gallery for all to explore.
Beyond the art, the message is clear: Marine turtles, around for over 100 million years, are now under serious threat. From plastic pollution to rising sea levels, they face a tough future and this trail is about sparking action to protect them.
The sculptures will be auctioned in October 2025, with all proceeds going to support Tusk’s marine conservation work in Africa.
