W Film Club with My Genderation: Life of Kai

In honour of upcoming pride month, W London aim to illuminate the power of authentic trans storytelling with a screening dedicated to the Life of Kai and two shorts from My Genderation archives.

On the 1st of July, W London's film club will dedicate a session to the film the Life of Kai which has been a BFI - funded documentary in the making over the course of 10 years. Accompanied by two shorts from My Genderation archive, the programme foregrounds the importance of authentic trans storytelling and the role of cinema in representing trans lives with nuance, dignity, and care.

Embracing Pride Month through the lens of cinema and cultural storytelling, the W London film club will take place in a private and atmospheric cinema where these films and the messages within them can be fully appreciated.
