Art of London presents #TakeAMoment2022, the Ray Burmiston photography exhibition in partnership with Piccadilly Lights encouraging the public to take a moment for mental health. Inspired by this collaboration, we have put together a guide to some ways to find calm in London's West End.

Scenes in the Square

Offering a free, must-see entertainment and film attraction, Scenes in the Square features recognisable characters and scenes, each immortalised in interactive and expressive bronze statues, with some brought to life in the evening through lighting.

Take A Moment

Art of London presents TAKE A MOMENT 2022 a photography exhibition from artist, Ray Burmiston taking over the West End to raise awareness for mental health this March.

The spectacular exhibition will feature a huge number of famous faces photographed with their eyes closed, to remind people to take a moment to look after their mental health. Featuring portraits of A-list stars including David Walliams, Stephen Fry, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, Kate Moss, Richard Ayoade, Helena Bonham Carter, Ricky Gervais, Grayson Perry, Mel B, James Corden, Kylie Minogue, Nish Kumar, and many others from the worlds of entertainment and sport, Art of London’s exhibition will appear on Europe’s largest advertising display, the Piccadilly Lights. Landsec, which owns the Piccadilly Lights, is donating the screen time in support of the campaign.

Spectators can be part of the movement, and see their face up on the Piccadilly Lights alongside iconic celebrated stars. From early March, simply post an eyes closed selfie on Instagram, in a moment of reflection for the chance to appear on the Piccadilly Lights along with much-loved celebrities and ‘famous faces’ of the West End. After a cargo ship sinks in the middle of the vast Pacific Ocean, there are five survivors stranded on a lifeboat – a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, sixteen-year-old boy named Pi and a Bengal tiger named Richard Parker. Time is against them, and nature is harsh - be transported by this epic tale.
