Ts&Cs:

• To enter our prize draw simply like the competition post and follow National Portrait Gallery and Art of London on Instagram, tag a friend and for an extra 5 entries share to stories.

• The promoter is Art of London, operated by Heart of London Business Alliance (company no. 04293930) whose registered office is at 80-81 St Martin's Ln, London WC2N 4AA

• The competition is provided by the National Portrait Gallery, St. Martin's Pl, London WC2H 0HE

• Open to residents of the UK aged 18 or over. Employees of the HOLBA, and their family and friends are not eligible for entry.

• There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

• The competition runs from 30th January - 5th February 2024. After the closing date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted unless stated otherwise.

• Competition closes at midnight on 5th February 2024

• The prize is as stated, no cash alternative and non-transferable.

• Winners must claim their prize within 3 days of notification. In the event that the winner does not claim their prize within 3 days, another winner will be drawn at random.

• Tickets are valid for the date, time, and exhibition or event stated.

• Exhibitions tickets and donations are not refundable.

• For workshops, if you cancel your event booking 28 calendar days or more before the event date, you will receive a full refund. No refund will be given if the cancellation is requested within 28 calendar days of the workshop. No other event tickets can be refunded, exchanged or transferred.

• Catalogues purchased online or over the phone in conjunction with tickets can be returned for a refund before the item is collected. If you purchased a catalogue from the NPG Online shop, please refer to their Returns and Delivery policy.

• If purchasing a concession priced ticket, please ensure that the person the ticket is intended for meets the correct criteria and brings proof of eligibility on the day of attendance.

• If collecting your ticket(s) in person from the Gallery please ensure you bring your confirmation email and/or proof of identity or collection may be denied.

• For livestreamed events, purchasing an online ticket includes consent to be filmed and included in a recording as required during the event.

• The Gallery may refuse entry to latecomers or require latecomers to wait until a suitable time to be admitted.

• Tickets are only valid for entry once, no readmission allowed.

• The Gallery reserves the right to refuse entry or ask ticket holders to leave at any point on reasonable grounds.

• The Gallery reserves the right to alter the advertised arrangements for any exhibition, cancel any exhibition time slot and/or close the exhibition without notice. In any such event the Gallery’s maximum liability to you customers shall not exceed the total amount paid for the ticket(s). Should an exhibition slot be cancelled, and if an alternative visit date cannot be arranged for the exhibition, the Gallery will then refund the full price paid to customers.

• The NPG reserves the right to make alterations to the published details of events as necessary and/or cancel the event. Should cancellation of any event be necessary, the Gallery will attempt to contact all customers who have booked tickets in advance to arrange exchange or refund of tickets. This contact will be in the form of email for online customers, so customers are advised to check their email inbox before visiting the Gallery to avoid an unnecessary journey should an event be cancelled. The Gallery will then refund the full price paid to customers.

• Any ticket re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain without written permission from the National Portrait Gallery becomes void and the holder may be refused entry or ejected from the venue. Any customer unsure of the legitimacy of a website should contact the Gallery before purchasing their tickets.

• Entry into this competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.

• This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any Social Network.

• The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter's control. Any changes to the competition will be notified as soon as possible by the promoter.

• Insofar as permitted by law, the promoter, its agents or its distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the by negligence of the promoter, its agents or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

• The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.

• The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.

• The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.

• Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. Data will not be shared with anybody external to Heart of London Business Alliance.

The Prize:

The prize is two tickets to the ‘Taylor Wessing Photo Prize 2023’ Exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery, plus a round of cocktails and small plates for two at Larry’s.
