Art of London and British-Nigerian multi-disciplinary artist and designer Yinka Ilori MBE are set to unveil a vibrant new installation this summer titled 'Good Things Come To Those Who Wait', transforming Piccadilly Circus into a dreamscape of possibility.
This exciting public art installation will adorn the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain inspired by Greek mythology, marking the first time in 132 years that this iconic landmark has been enhanced in such a way.
Two grand Pegasus figures, each soaring 23 feet high, strike a galloping pose on vibrant orange and yellow curved plinths emblazoned with uplifting affirmations that empower the public to pursue and achieve their dreams.
Launching on 20th August, this extraordinary installation is infused with Yinka’s signature bold and joyful style, inviting everyone—whether you’re out for an after-work meal, enjoying a summer date night, or taking a solo stroll—to experience and enjoy a moment of reflection and inspiration.
Reimagining the West End as an open-air gallery without walls, Art of London’s collaboration with Yinka Ilori is in partnership with the public art and placemaking agency New Public.
