London is getting a taste of the French Riviera this autumn, as Art of London transforms the West End into an immersive art experience.
Created in partnership with the Royal Academy of Arts, Step Into the French Riviera will bring three artworks from the forthcoming Painting the French Riviera exhibition out of the gallery and onto the streets.
Visitors can step inside larger-than-life artworks, with colour, sound and scent bringing the Riviera to life — from vibrant scenes by Raoul Dufy and André Derain to an immersive experience inspired by Yves Klein’s International Klein Blue.
Running throughout October, the free experience is designed as a cultural escape in the heart of London, with a wider programme of Riviera-inspired food, shopping and culture to discover across the West End.
So, if you can't make it to the Côte d’Azur this autumn, Art of London is bringing a little of it to you.
