Costumes a Wigs Workshops
Discover the craft behind opera wigs in this exclusive workshop at the London Coliseum with the English National Opera’s Senior WHAM Technician. Learn how wigs are made, from knotting and setting to final styling, with a hands-on session, Q&A, and backstage tour offering a rare insight into this essential part of character creation.

Costumes a Wigs: Backstage Workshops
Go behind the scenes with the English National Opera’s costume specialists in this hands-on workshop exploring millinery, silk painting, and pleating techniques. Held at ENO’s Costume Workshop in South West London, the session offers the chance to create your own floral corsage, painted silk scarf, or pleated fabric sample, alongside Q&As with the expert team and a tour of the costume production site.

Set within Fortnum’s iconic Piccadilly store, the exhibition celebrates traditional craftsmanship, creativity, and beautifully made objects designed to bring joy to everyday life.

Craft and Nature: In Conversation with Emma Witter
Join Berry Bros. & Rudd for an intimate evening exploring the connections between craft, nature, and sustainability with artist Emma Witter and Katy Wickremesinghe. Set in Berry Bros. & Rudd’s historic London shop, the event combines conversation with a curated tasting of wines and spirits, alongside a display of Witter’s nature-inspired works during London Craft Week.

Table Runner Printing with Molly Mahon
Learn the art of block printing and create your own table runners with textile designer Molly, known for joyful, pared-back designs in bold, zesty colours. Inspired by nature and Indian craft traditions, her work brings colour, texture, and pattern into modern homes.

Discover the art of flower pressing with Melissa Richardson and Amy Fielding of JamJar Edit and create beautiful dried flower place cards. They share how they’ve modernised this traditional craft, inspired by seasonal blooms, colour, and form, often using flowers grown at Fern Verrow.

Tea-Dyed Silk Ribbons with Sian Cornish
In this workshop with dyeing expert Sian Cornish of Lancaster & Cornish, you’ll explore the history of natural dyeing and create your own tea-dyed silk ribbons using Fortnum’s tea. Sian draws inspiration from Cornwall’s landscapes, using plants and pigments to reflect seasonal colour and change.

Botanical Themed Menus with Katharine Amies
With over 10 years of teaching experience, Katharine Amies guides you through painting botanical-themed menus in watercolour, helping you translate nature onto paper. Learn techniques to depict fruit and flowers from a leading British botanical artist whose work is held in the Shirley Sherwood Collection at Kew Gardens.
