Fortnum & Mason has launched a Biscuitorium – everything you need to know

Updates

Fortnum & Mason has launched an impressive Biscuitorium at its iconic Piccadilly store, turning the humble biscuit into a full-scale immersive experience dedicated entirely to Britain’s favourite tea companion.

At the heart of the experience is the Biscuit Library—an interactive flavour “matching” zone where visitors choose their taste preferences (from Buttery & Traditional to Dark & Decadent or Vegan & Gluten Free) and get matched with their ideal dunker. It’s a tasting guide that's fully committed to the art of dunking.

Elsewhere, things get even more indulgent. The new Made in Piccadilly counter showcases freshly crafted sandwich biscuits like Eton Mess and Chocolate with Peanut & Caramel, all produced in-house by Fortnum’s chefs under a ceiling mural by decorative artist Tess Newall.

Then there’s the headline act: the Whoppalossus—a 400g, 15.5cm-wide sharing biscuit designed for breaking, slicing, and generally not being polite about. Flavours range from Pistachio & Raspberry Marshmallow to Marshmallow & Salted Almond Caramel, making it equal parts dessert and spectacle.

For those who take their pairing seriously, Fortnum’s is also introducing a new Biscuits for Drinks range, engineered to complement everything from Champagne and wine to whisky, gin, and beer because yes, your gin now has a designated biscuit.

All of this lands inside the world of Fortnum & Mason at its Piccadilly flagship in London, already one of the most festive destinations in the city, now with an added layer of biscuit drama!

If you’re looking for a new reason to wander through central London this spring, this might be it.
