Joshua Kane unveils Burlington Arcade's new Beadle Uniform

Burlington Arcade is one of London’s most historic shopping destinations, and at the heart of it’s allure is the Burlington Beadles, custodians of tradition since the Regency era.
Originally from Lord Cavendish’s regiment, The Hussars, these guardians of etiquette now wear new uniforms crafted by famed tailor Joshua Kane. Adorned with gold buttons featuring the iconic Burlington Rosette, these uniforms embody the timeless elegance of the arcade and its architecture.
In February 2024, Borsalino joined Burlington Arcade and now introduces new Beadle top hats. Designed to complement the arcade’s brand colours, these hats enhance the Beadles’ distinctive appearance as they proudly patrol the arcade.
Burlington Arcade remains a beacon of tradition and elegance, where every detail—from its architecture to the attire of its Beadles—honours its esteemed heritage and invites visitors to step into a world of timeless sophistication.
