The National Gallery is celebrating 200 years since it’s inception. Starting from 10 May and continuing for an entire year, celebrate The National Gallery’s 200th Birthday.

Celebrations in London and beyond include National Treasures exhibitions in 12 museums and galleries across the UK, a travelling studio touring art through the UK, a national public art commission by Turner Prize winner Jeremy Deller, social media creator collaborations, and loads more!
The celebration kicks off on the 10 May with a special Friday Lates event, featuring a performance by Jools Holland joined by musical talents Ruby Turner MBE, Louise Marshall, and Sumudu.
Throughout the Gallery, enjoy DJ sets, music from London Contemporary Voices, captivating soundscapes by Anna Phoebe, and poetry readings by Ben Okri.
Outside The National Gallery building enjoy a light show showcasing projections of Gallery paintings and the narrative of its history, illuminating the building's façade in partnership with NVisible.
