In a nation corrupted by plague, lack of leadership and riddled with crime, Hal finds himself in a position he never imagined.

Born far from royalty, he now stands on the brink of inheriting the throne.

Despite his father's fervent desire for him to abandon his tavern companions, especially the notorious John Falstaff, Hal remains torn. As war looms ominously, the question persists: Can Hal rise and fulfil his destiny?

Bringing together Shakespeare's two greatest history plays (Henry IV, parts 1 and 2) into the theatrical event of the season, Player Kings will take the stage for a twelve-week limited run at the Noël Coward Theatre.

Book your tickets now and watch Ian McKellen’s performance in the heart of London’s theatre scene.

Noël Coward Theatre

Theatre

The Noël Coward Theatre, originally known as the New Theatre, was built by Sir Charles Wyndham on St. Martin's Lane and opened on March 12, 1903. It was built behind the Wyndham's Theatre which was completed in 1899. In 1973 it was renamed the Noël Coward in tribute to the late Sir Bronson Noël Coward who had presided as its manager for many years. The building was designed by architect W. G. R. Sprague with an exterior in the Classical style and an interior in the Rococo style.
