Art After Dark returns to London’s West End from 10-12 October 2024, featuring eye-catching neon displays by artist Chila Kumari Singh Burman MBE.

Her dazzling installation, inspired by London’s rich history and diverse communities, will light up Leicester Square Gardens from 10 October to 12 October alongside the Frieze Art Fair and ahead Diwali celebrations.
World-class galleries including the Royal Academy of Arts, The National Gallery, and the National Portrait Gallery will extend their opening hours, offering a unique way for visitors to experience art after dark.

Art of London Gallery HOP!
On Thursday, 10 October, explore some of the West End’s most iconic galleries, including Stern Pissarro Gallery, Martin Beisly Fine Art, and Skarstedt. From Impressionism to Modern and Contemporary, there’s something for everyone, with galleries staying open late for this special evening.

Friday Night Lates
On Friday 11 October, famous art institutions like The National Gallery, National Portrait Gallery, and Royal Academy of Arts will keep their doors open into the evening, letting visitors explore masterpieces after hours.
Experience an incredible lineup of artists in a special after-hours setting, featuring ticketed exhibitions like Van Gogh and Michael Craig-Martin, as well as free displays such as Flaming June.
Free Public Artworks
Across all three nights, Chila Burman’s glowing neon installations will light up the West End, including her new commission in Leicester Square Gardens. Chila’s work dives into themes of representation, gender, and cultural identity.
