Coventry Street, London, UK

On 27th August, Art of London, in partnership with the newly re-opened National Portrait Gallery, presents a vibrant new public art installation - ‘Art Reframed’.

To kick off our summer season, actor and art enthusiast Russell Tovey unveiled ‘Art Reframed’. This captivating installation features some of the National Portrait Gallery's most celebrated portraits displayed on over 50 giant colourful cubes, lining the skies of London's lively entertainment district.

Showcasing legendary figures from the world of film, literature, and music, including William Shakespeare, Ira Aldridge, Noel Coward, Olivia Colman, Judi Dench, Saoirse Ronan, Elton John, Dusty Springfield, Millicent Small, and Kate Bush.

Art Reframed has transformed the West End into a massive canvas for public art. You can enjoy these stunning installations hanging over Irving Street and Coventry Street from July through to October.

And for those curious about Russell Tovey's own portrait, it's on display inside the National Portrait Gallery, alongside these giant elevated portraits.
